Peuteropvang de Kubus

Peuteropvang de Kubus is a daycare facility that is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Emmen, located at Houtweg 404 in Emmen. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 2.5 to 4 years old. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since September 1, 2017. At Peuteropvang de Kubus, we create a warm and safe environment where toddlers can play, learn, and take their first steps within the school setting in a familiar group setting. We work with small groups: two groups of maximum 16 children and one group of maximum 8 children. This small-scale approach allows us to give individual attention to each child. Our team consists of dedicated childcare professionals who ensure a familiar environment. One permanent staff member is present for the half group, while the full groups are supervised by two permanent staff members. This consistent guidance contributes to the security and development of the children. Peuteropvang de Kubus offers pre-school education (VE) focused on the broad development of toddlers. This program is intended for all toddlers in the group and provides extra support to children who need it or who are looking for more challenge. We operate from Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 12:30, during which the children have lunch with us. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang Emmen, we work closely with De Kubus primary school, which is located on the same premises. This collaboration enables a smooth transition from toddler care to primary education.
