Krekeltje

’t Krekeltje is a small-scale daycare centre located in the heart of Alteveer, within walking distance of primary school De Drijscheer and the local community centre. Operating under Stichting Peuterwerk, we provide care for up to 12 children aged 0 to 4 years. We have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 12 October 2012 under number 232233858. We organise care into two separate groups: a baby group and a toddler group. In the baby group the focus is on emotional and motor development; in the toddler group we emphasise self-reliance, play development and daily theme-based craft activities. Examples include learning to eat independently, dressing and undressing, toilet training and creative projects linked to the weekly theme. Our spacious natural playground invites outdoor play with safe, age-appropriate equipment. When the weather is good we spend plenty of time outside, allowing children to run, explore and make friends. Indoors, quiet sleeping areas provide the necessary rest, while our certified pedagogical staff guide every developmental stage individually. Pre-school education (VE) is a standard part of our programme. We follow a consistent daily rhythm with familiar eating, sleeping and play times so that each child feels safe and secure. Our goal is for your child to develop at his or her own pace and to come to ’t Krekeltje with great enthusiasm.
