KPO Kindcentrum de Stappen

KPO Kindcentrum de Stappen provides extensive after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12 at our location on Kloosterstraat 17 in Wouw. Care takes place both inside the school building and on the outdoor grounds, allowing children to transition directly into a familiar environment after school. We work closely with KPO Kinderopvang, the childcare organization of Stichting Katholiek Primair Onderwijs Roosendaal, ensuring seamless integration between school and after-school care. Our BSO is open 52 weeks a year, including during school holidays and study days. We operate on a continuous schedule, enabling children to access care throughout the day on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Wednesday afternoons all groups are free, but we offer care when needed. Care is provided in and around the school building, utilizing playrooms, classrooms, and the outdoor playground. This setup gives children space to play, relax, and learn in an environment they already know from school. Our pedagogical staff are ready to provide children with a safe and enjoyable time. We believe it is important that children feel at home and have the freedom to be themselves. There is ample opportunity for free play activities as well as structured activities aligned with the children's interests. We actively involve parents in the care through our communication channels and use the Rosa system for daily information exchange.
