Het Stroink

Welcome to KOSMO Het Stroink, located at Het Stroink 66 in Enschede. We provide toddler care through ‘De Kabouters’ for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our setting is part of the Integrated Child Centre (IKC) Stroinkslanden-Zuid, working closely with primary school Het Stroink and other local partners. At De Kabouters we follow a clear daily rhythm. Morning sessions run from 08:15 to 12:15 and afternoon sessions from 13:00 to 17:00. The toddler care is closed during school holidays. We use a toddler arrangement: two linked half-days on different days each week. Toddlers with an indication for extra play and learning (Pre-school Education) receive two additional half-days, funded by the municipality of Enschede. To meet every child’s developmental needs we implement the Pre-school Education programme Uk & Puk. This programme supports language development and other pre-school skills in a playful way. Our qualified staff guide the children in small, same-age groups, ensuring each child receives the attention they deserve. Outdoor play is an essential part of our day. Children can enjoy the school playgrounds around the site, the Smiley field and the nearby Speelbos ’t Stroink. The natural play environment invites exploration, movement and cooperative play.
