Welcome to De Twijn daycare, part of IKC De Twijn located at P.C. Stamstraat 2a in Nijverdal. We provide care for the youngest children in a homely atmosphere. Our professional childcare staff organize numerous challenging and development-oriented play activities for children up to 4 years old. Children can play in various themed corners and enjoy a spacious playroom with an adjacent living kitchen. For the toddler group (2-4 years), we work with the Early Childhood Education (VVE) program Uk & Puk. This program extensively covers the first steps in arithmetic, language and social skills. Through a clear daily structure, your child gradually becomes familiar with the rhythm of primary school. Our outdoor space offers plenty of opportunities for discovery and play. At the back is a special garden for daycare where the youngest children can play undisturbed and discover the world. We also use the sports hall and large kitchen that we share with the primary schools in the building, where children can learn to cook delicious dishes. We work in small core groups: the Rascals (0-4 years) and the Scamps (2-4 years). This horizontal group structure ensures age-appropriate activities and guidance.
