Welcome to Korein Kinderplein Sint Lidwinastraat 2, our daycare centre located in the Stratum district of Eindhoven. We provide day care for up to 90 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into three baby/toddler groups (0–2 years) and three preschool groups (2–4 years). This horizontal grouping ensures every child receives care and stimulation that match their exact developmental stage. Our site is part of the SPIL centre together with primary school De Klimboom. SPIL stands for Playing, Integrating and Learning. Thanks to close cooperation, our methods dovetail with primary education; children already make friends they will meet again at school, ensuring a smooth transition. We use the KIJK! observation method, which centres on each child’s own development. We provide challenging developmental materials and design the spaces so that learning through play comes naturally. For children from about 2 years who need extra support, we offer early childhood education (VVE). This programme helps reduce any developmental delays early on and gives every child the best possible start at primary school. Our team consists of enthusiastic, committed and well-trained pedagogical staff who give every child the personal attention they deserve. We believe children should feel safe, valued and challenged. Therefore we offer a warm, homely environment with room for children’s own initiative and where every child’s development is central.
