Welcome to Korein Heikamperweg, our day-care centre located in the heart of Heusden. We are situated at Heikamperweg 3, right next to primary school St. Antonius and in the middle of the vibrant community life of the village. Our team of 10 experienced pedagogical professionals works every day with great passion and pleasure on the development of your child. With us, every child is allowed to be themselves. We offer space for personal initiative; the children decide for themselves what they want to do. Playing is central, because playing is learning. We have a large, green outdoor area where they can run, discover and play to their heart’s content. In addition, we regularly use the school gym for extra movement activities. We work with themed periods to prepare children for primary school in a playful way. Each period focuses on a recognisable theme in which language, numeracy, motor skills and social skills are covered in a natural way. The transition to group 1/2 is therefore easy for your toddler. Our location has four horizontal groups: a baby group (0-1 year), toddler group (1-2 years), pre-school group (2-3 years) and a pre-school group (3-4 years). This way, every child receives the care and stimuli that suit his or her stage of development. We believe it is important that children become self-reliant so that they can discover the world in freedom and safety.
