Welcome to Koningskind Childcare Sprengenpark, our monumental daycare center located at Henri Dunantlaan 6 in Apeldoorn. We provide care for 72 children aged 0 to 4 years in a beautifully renovated former teacher training college, situated directly next to Sprengenpark and surrounded by the forested area of Apeldoorn. Our location has recently expanded with new spaces and additional childcare spots. We work with three horizontal age groups: a baby group for up to 6 babies, a toddler group for 11 children, and a preschool group for 16 children. Each child has more space than usual with us, giving your child the peace and room to develop optimally. We follow the Koningskind vision with the 8 'knaps' (multiple intelligences): language, math, movement, music, social, self, nature, and visual intelligence. Our pedagogical staff focus specifically on your child and use specific materials to stimulate development. We work with zones that are stylishly and homely furnished with sustainable materials, making children aware of environmental factors and teaching them the value of materials. Our spacious 600 m² garden is designed with natural materials and offers different play areas for the various groups. Unique is our outdoor sleeping option in special outdoor beds in the baby garden, specifically for children aged 0 to 4 years. This often provides a solution for children who have difficulty falling asleep or sleep restlessly - they sleep more peacefully, deeper, and longer outdoors.
