Welcome to Kunst-bso Vestetuin, our creative after-school care located right in the heart of Breda. We are situated inside the Nieuwe Veste cultural complex, next to the city’s main library and surrounded by music, dance, visual arts and theatre. This makes our location at Molenstraat 6 a unique place where children aged 7 to 12 can discover and develop their artistic talents after school. Our pedagogical staff members Annemarie and Sylvia are ready to welcome the children every weekday. We work closely with the course programme offered by Nieuwe Veste, so children can simply step into drawing, painting or music lessons during after-school care time. No extra travel, no extra planning: just walk in and start creating. Children can also pop into the library or play on the Nieuwe Veste courtyard and in the nearby park. Kunst-bso Vestetuin is open to children from all over Breda who feel at home in art and culture. Because some families live a little further away, we are happy to look into pick-up and drop-off options, for example by taxi. We believe every child who wants to participate should be able to do so. Everything we do revolves around wonder, experimentation and discovery. One day we might be making puppets, the next we are rehearsing a mini-musical or building an installation from recycled materials. No two days are the same.
