Welcome to after-school care 'het Landhuis', located at Van Gaverenlaan 10a in Alphen. We are part of Kober, a professional childcare organization with over 200 locations throughout West-Brabant. Our after-school care is situated in a modern broad school building together with primary school Willibrordus, with whom we work intensively as one team. This unique collaboration ensures a seamless transition between school and childcare. At het Landhuis, everything revolves around free play in a warm, village-like atmosphere. Children can enjoy creative activities from the DoenKids program in our cozy spaces - think making bracelets, clay work, or other creative projects. For children who prefer reading or building, we have a hall with various play corners set up. Our large outdoor area offers plenty of opportunities to move and play sports, in collaboration with a neighborhood sports coach who organizes sports activities. A special highlight is our annual Superheroes Week, where children raise money for a local charity like Stichting Gijsje Eigenwijsje by baking cookies, collecting bottles, and selling items. This teaches children in a playful way to be socially involved. Our after-school care is currently open on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:30-8:30 AM (before-school care) and 3:00-6:30 PM (after-school care). For Wednesday and Friday, we can provide care upon sufficient request. We accommodate up to 80 children and work with a fixed team of pedagogical staff, including one who also works as a teaching assistant at the school. This provides extra continuity and familiarity for the children. Through our Parent App, we keep parents daily updated on their child's experiences. We offer a familiar environment with personal contact, where parents can catch up when dropping off and picking up.
