KO Franciscus Weiteveen

KO Franciscus Weiteveen is a daycare center that is part of the Catent Foundation. We are located at Zuidersloot 61 in Weiteveen and provide professional childcare for up to 30 children aged 0 to 4 years. Inclusivity and personal attention are at the heart of our approach. Our pedagogical staff work according to Catent's pedagogical work plan, where each child's development at their own pace is central. We use horizontal groups, with babies, toddlers and preschoolers cared for in age groups. This creates a safe and structured environment that matches your child's developmental stage. The daily schedule is carefully structured. We start the morning with a welcome ritual and free playtime. Around 12:00 PM we eat together at the table, where children can choose from the available options. After eating, children wearing diapers receive a clean diaper. We provide warm meals, bread meals and healthy snacks, taking allergies and dietary requirements into account. In the afternoon we regularly go on outings or set up activities. There is always plenty of room for free play and discovery. We work on language development through reading and singing, and stimulate creative development through crafts and drawing. Outdoor play is an important part of our day, using our safe garden and playground. For the youngest children we provide bottle feeding, diaper changes and rest periods in our separate sleeping rooms. We work with VVE programs (Pre- and Early School Education) to optimally support children's development and prepare them well for primary school. KO Franciscus Weiteveen offers flexible childcare options, including half days. We are proud to provide a warm, safe place where children can develop into independent, social and curious individuals.
