Welcome to Knutselkookclub Haarlem Stuyvesantstraat! We are a small-scale after-school care facility where children aged 4 to 12 prepare their own dinner after school. Our unique concept combines cooking with creative activities, where children learn by looking, feeling, tasting and smelling. Each afternoon starts with a joint cooking session where children prepare a complete meal under supervision. They discover new flavors, learn about healthy eating and develop practical skills. After cooking, we enjoy the homemade meal together. For parents, this means they can pick up their children at 6:00 PM with full bellies and smiles. In addition to cooking, we also offer creative workshops such as woodworking, crafting and thematic projects. Our location at Stuyvesantstraat 76 in Haarlem accommodates up to 20 children, allowing us to provide lots of personal attention. We pick up children from school and ensure a safe transfer from school to our location. Knutselkookclub was founded by Emily van Rijn, who translated her experience from creative projects during her travels through Asia and Africa into this unique form of after-school care. Our goal is to let children discover different products and materials with joy, so they can develop their taste and creativity.
