Knipoog

Knipoog is our after-school care (BSO) location at G.H. Kappertstraat 45 in Nijverdal. We are situated right on Sportpark Smidserve, inside the clubhouse of local football club de Hulzense Boys. This gives us plenty of indoor space to relax, eat, play table football and get creative, as well as direct access to outdoor pitches and a green square with benches under the trees. Our qualified staff run daily programmes from DoenKids: a varied mix of sports, crafts, nature activities and themed games. When the weather allows, we head outside to the artificial-turf pitch or organise treasure hunts on the large square; sometimes we even have lunch outside. Older children (7–13) can enjoy extra-challenging equipment, while younger ones find age-appropriate games and crafts. We pick up from four primary schools: De Schaapskooi, De Triangel, De Bongerd (directly across the street) and Reggewinde, all within walking or cycling distance. Children aged 6–13 are welcomed into horizontal groups named ‘Smileys’, ensuring activities match their developmental stage. Knipoog is part of the Kanjer child centre, which also provides before-school care and Wednesday care. Together we create a second home where every child feels safe, active and happy after the school day ends.
