Knikkebol dependance Regenboog

Knikkebol dependance Regenboog is our after-school care location situated within the Roman Catholic primary school De Regenboog at Tochtwaard 14 in Alkmaar-Huiswaard. We provide care for up to 33 children aged 4 to 12. Three dedicated pedagogical staff members are ready every afternoon to offer the children a familiar and safe place after school. Because we are literally under the same roof as the school, children walk straight into our group after the last lesson. They stay in their familiar environment and see the same faces, which brings calm and recognition. We work intensively with the teachers of De Regenboog, so we are well informed about what happened at school that day and where extra attention may be needed. Our spacious, bright rooms are arranged according to the children’s age. There is plenty of space to build with Lego, do crafts, cook, play or dress up. We apply an open-door policy: children can choose what they want to play with and move freely between activities. In this way we stimulate their own initiative and they develop new skills while playing. Knikkebol dependance Regenboog is part of Rollebol Kindercentra B.V., a reliable organisation with several locations in Alkmaar. Our BSO has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 20 August 2018 under number 102325534 and is supervised by the GGD Hollands-Noorden.
