BSO Klinkers

BSO Klinkers is a small-scale before- and after-school care centre located within Kindcentrum Klinkers at Woerdenstraat 62 in the Witbrant West district of Tilburg Reeshof. We provide care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12 and work closely with primary school Klinkers, allowing children to stay in a familiar environment right after school. Our mission aligns seamlessly with that of the child centre: “Together into the world!”. We guide children in their development into responsible and inquisitive world citizens who participate effectively in today’s and tomorrow’s world. In a safe and inspiring play and learning environment, children are given space to discover, play and learn. We operate from six core values that apply to both children and professionals: connection, inquisitiveness, resilience, individuality, enjoyment and responsibility. BSO Klinkers provides both before-school and after-school care. Before school we start the day calmly with joint activities and breakfast. After school we offer a wide range of activities tailored to the interests and developmental needs of the children – think crafts, games, outdoor play and relaxation. We make use of the child centre’s facilities, such as the playroom, gym and outdoor area. During school holidays and study days there are plenty of opportunities for outings and themed weeks. Parents appreciate our personal approach and short lines of communication. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to give children a pleasant and challenging time. We believe it is important that children feel safe and seen, so that they can develop optimally. Together with parents and the school we form a close-knit team around the child.
