Welcome to KION daycare Klimop, centrally located in Lent at Laauwikstraat 2. At Klimop, familiar faces ensure your child feels safe, can develop at their own pace, and enjoys spending the day with other children. We believe young children can do many things themselves from an early age. Therefore, we encourage your child to spread their own bread, come up with their own solutions, and choose what they want to do. We consciously take plenty of time for this. Our location accommodates up to 64 children and operates with a vertical group structure. This means children aged 0 to 4 years are together in one group, allowing them to learn from each other and develop at their own pace. We provide many 'open-ended' play materials, made from sustainable materials that stimulate your child's imagination at every stage of life. These materials encourage creative development and offer endless possibilities for play and discovery. At Klimop, we collaborate with Stichting Liz (Learning Interaction Care), which is committed to bringing children with and without disabilities into contact with each other. The foundation has a treatment group for children aged 0 to 7 years in the same building as our daycare. The children regularly meet during indoor and outdoor play, contributing to a rich learning environment where differences are embraced. Our qualified pedagogical staff provide professional care where every child receives the attention they deserve. We work with early childhood education (VVE) to optimally support your child's development. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
