Welcome to daycare De Klimboom, located in the heart of Kortenhoef at Oudergaarde 5. As part of Kind & Co Ludens, we provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, homely environment where fun and development go hand in hand. We follow the Pedagogical Heart of Kind & Co Ludens. This means we give children the space to be themselves while discovering the world around them. Our pedagogical staff offer a rich environment full of challenges, where play and learning come together. We believe every child is unique and deserves to feel safe and valued. That’s why we focus on four core values: feeling good and having fun, growing and discovering, a rich environment, and being together. Our location is situated in the multifunctional building 'Veenstaete', between primary schools De Regenboog and De Curtevenne. This offers an ideal base for a smooth transition to primary education. We have our own garden and playground, where children can play and explore nature daily. Indoors, everything is tailored to the needs of young children: quiet sleeping areas, a cozy corner for books and songs, and a creative space where we regularly do arts and crafts and experiment with materials. Language development is a key focus for us. We read aloud, sing songs, and use picture and word cards to expand vocabulary. We also work with early childhood education programs that align with each child’s developmental stage. We offer both full and half-day care, tailored to what suits your family best. There’s always room for a personal introduction and tour. At De Klimboom, we believe it’s important that both parents and children feel at home. We work closely with parents and maintain good communication about their child’s development. Together, we provide a great start in your child’s life.
