't Pippi Huis

Welcome to 't Pippi Huis, a small-scale anthroposophical daycare center located in a homely atmosphere at Delftweg 18 in Rijswijk. We provide care for up to 11 children aged 0 to 4 years, where personal attention and a warm, domestic atmosphere are central. Our childcare is based on anthroposophical life philosophy, where we help, support and guide the young child to give all (sensory) impressions a place in this world. We believe in the power of small-scale care and therefore provide childcare in a homely setting where children can feel safe and secure. A special feature of our care is that children have the opportunity to sleep outdoors in special outdoor beds, weather permitting. We also have a separate sleeping room inside for times when sleeping inside is more comfortable. This flexibility in sleeping habits aligns with our natural and child-centered approach. Our location is in Rijswijk, a short distance from the Vrije School Widar in Delft, which underlines our connection with the anthroposophical community. Under the leadership of Trudy Jongenotter, our director-owner, we guarantee loving care and guidance where each child is approached as a unique individual.
