Kleinschalig kindercentrum Doortje Dartel

Welcome to Kleinschalig kindercentrum Doortje Dartel, located at Bonhoefferstraat 34 in Groningen. We are a small-scale childcare center providing care for a maximum of 8 children aged 0 to 4 years at a time. Our daycare facility has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since January 1, 2014. At Doortje Dartel, we work with vertical groups where children of different ages play and learn together. This creates a homely and warm atmosphere where older children learn to care for the younger ones, and the younger children develop more quickly by following the example of the older children. We maintain a recurring daily rhythm that provides peace and regularity, which is essential for young children's development. Our activities focus on discovering, exploring, and experimenting. We regularly do arts and crafts and make extensive use of outdoor space. For example, we visit the Pluktuin (picking garden) and recently participated in the Toddler Four-Day Walk. These excursions are an important part of our approach, offering children the opportunity to explore the world around them. Marion Doorten, the owner, provides a loving and safe environment where children feel at home. The bond with both children and parents is particularly close - some children even call her 'grandma'. We believe it's important that parents are involved and maintain open and transparent communication. Everything is open for discussion and we are always available for questions or suggestions. Our small-scale setup ensures personal attention and a familiar environment for your child. We offer flexible, customized childcare that takes into account the individual needs of each child and family.
