Klein maar dapper Sterrenkwartier is our modern daycare centre located in the Integral Child Centre at Galileïlaan 9A, Spijkenisse. Opened in autumn 2023, we share this sustainable new building with primary schools Paus Johannes and Marimba, ensuring short lines and a smooth transition from childcare to school. We provide clearly educational daycare for children aged 2 to 4. Lessons are delivered by a fully qualified (HBO) teacher and are fully aligned with Early Childhood Education (VVE) programmes. A fixed daily rhythm gives children security: between 09:00 and 15:30 focused toddler education takes place, always centred on learning through play and fun. This approach lays a solid foundation for a seamless move into primary education. Parents can opt for full-day care from 07:30-18:00 or half-day care from 08:30-12:30. Our professional staff respond actively to each child’s individual needs, guided by our transparent pedagogical policy that details how we safeguard development, safety and well-being.
