Klein Alkmaar Kofschipstraat

Welcome to Klein Alkmaar Kofschipstraat, our daycare centre located at Kofschipstraat 12 in Alkmaar. We are part of Stichting Klein Alkmaar, a committed, forward-thinking and sustainable childcare organisation that has been active in all neighbourhoods of Alkmaar since 1991. At our centre, babies, toddlers and preschoolers aged 0 to 4 find a safe, loving and stimulating environment in which to grow and discover. Our daycare is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 636553954 and offers places for up to 16 children. We work with horizontal groups, bringing children together in age groups that match their developmental stage. We provide pre-school education (VVE) through the Uk&Puk programme and use the child-tracking system KIJK! to carefully monitor and stimulate each child’s development. Our pedagogical staff are trained to give the very youngest the attention and care they need. The site has its own enclosed garden where children can play safely and enjoy the outdoors. We work closely with primary school Het Kompas and make use of the large playground, gym and Tiny Forest. In this way children learn through play from nature and from each other. We believe it is important that children experience with pleasure and feel safe, so that parents can go to work with peace of mind. At Klein Alkmaar, development is central. We offer not only childcare, but also a place where children can grow in a familiar environment. We warmly invite parents and children to come and meet our centre and our approach.
