Klein Alkmaar Drechterwaard

Klein Alkmaar Drechterwaard is an after-school care facility (BSO) located on the premises of OBS Jules Verne primary school at Drechterwaard 9 in Alkmaar. We provide care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since September 4, 2023, under number 286539366. At Klein Alkmaar Drechterwaard, we believe that children need relaxation, adventure, and companionship after school. Our pedagogical staff create a warm and safe environment where children can develop freely. We offer a varied activity program where children can choose to relax, play football with friends, do crafts, bake, play games like Stratego, or simply share their thoughts. Our BSO is part of an Integral Child Center (IKC), where we work closely with OBS Jules Verne. This collaboration ensures a seamless transition between school and childcare, allowing children to continue experiencing the same familiar environment. We operate from the conviction that children develop best when they feel safe and valued. The location features a spacious garden where children can play and explore to their heart's content. We pay great attention to stimulating self-reliance and social skills, giving children the space to make their own choices within clear boundaries.
