Welcome to Klein Alkmaar Beethovensingel 3, our spacious, modern yet intimate daycare centre in the heart of Alkmaar. We provide daycare for up to 80 children aged 0-4 in a natural and safe environment where growing up, discovering and playing are central. Upon entering, you will immediately notice our unique conversation pit: a cosy place where we organise theme-based activities and read aloud from our book collection every day. The children develop language and imagination while sitting or lying comfortably in a familiar setting. Each group has its own room that we close during rest time, but also open to create extra play space. The layout is flexible and adapts to the children's needs. When the children go to sleep, we use outdoor cribs – always in consultation with parents. This way they enjoy fresh air, natural daylight and the soothing sounds of wind, trees and birds. Children sleep longer and deeper, build up resistance and wake up cheerful. Our outdoor area is green, green and more green. We have a sandpit, a barefoot path, a willow teepee, vegetable gardens, a slide, shady spots and plenty of room to cycle. The natural elements encourage adventurous play and provide endless discoveries. Toddlers help in the vegetable garden and learn about vegetables, flowers and the importance of caring for the environment in a playful way.
