Klavertjes en Madeliefjes

Welcome to KDV De Madeliefjes, part of Kinderdagverblijf Doortje, located at Otto van Reesweg 2 in Culemborg. Since the summer of 2014, we have provided personal and professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 in a fully modernized building. De Madeliefjes works closely with the adjacent group De Klavertjes, allowing children from both groups to play outside together and visit each other, creating a homely and social atmosphere. Safety, security and personal attention are our priorities. Our fixed pedagogical staff truly know your child and act as an extension of your home situation. Our vertical groups (0-4 years) allow siblings to be together and learn from each other. We focus on development through themed craft activities tailored to young children’s experiences, such as seasons, the body or firefighters. These activities stimulate fine motor skills and change every six weeks. From age 3, children can join our toddler tracking system to monitor development and prepare for primary school. Parents receive a personal handover booklet daily with a story about their child’s experiences. Outdoor play is highly valued. We play outside almost daily, even all day in summer. We regularly visit the Lanxmeer eco-district or the playground. For babies, we follow their individual rhythm; for toddlers, we follow their normal daily routine.
