SKSG Klavertje 6

Welcome to SKSG Klavertje 6, a homely daycare centre right in the De Wijert district of Groningen. Located at Bilderdijklaan 123, we combine childcare and a playgroup under one roof. Children aged 0 – 4 are given every opportunity to be themselves and to discover their talents in a safe, familiar environment. Safety and trust are at the heart of everything we do. Babies explore the outside world in their own fenced-off section of the garden, while older children can run, jump and build in the large green playground or play in one of our sandpits – one of which is covered so that outdoor fun continues even on drizzly days. Every group has direct access to the garden, making the transition from inside to outside smooth and natural. We work with horizontal groups: babies, toddlers and preschoolers are cared for separately so that activities and care can be tailored precisely to each child’s stage of development. On the preschool groups our qualified staff deliver the Early Childhood Education programme Startblokken. Themes that match the toddlers’ world of experience guide playful activities that stimulate language development and social-emotional growth. In addition, we run toddler-gym sessions where children work on gross and fine motor skills while having fun and earning the Nijntje Movement Diploma. Klavertje 6 is open from 07:30 to 18:00. Parents who start early or work a little later can request extended care until 18:30. We believe every child should feel seen, regardless of background or home language. That is why we focus on personal attention, small-scale groups and a warm atmosphere that feels as much like home as possible – only slightly different.
