Kits Oonlie Daalmeer

Welcome to Kits Oonlie Daalmeer, our daycare center located in the heart of Daalmeer district in Alkmaar. We are part of the Integrated Child Center (IKC) Daalmeer and provide care for up to 23 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our facility consists of a quiet baby group and an engaging toddler group, both housed in spacious, bright and well-organized areas specifically designed for the development and needs of young children. At Kits Oonlie Daalmeer we work according to our five key principles: positive approach, stimulating development, open door policy, no forcing, and lots of outdoor play. We believe every child is unique and deserves to grow at their own pace. Our qualified childcare professionals provide a safe and familiar environment where your child can develop optimally. We use a horizontal group structure, with babies and toddlers playing and sleeping in separate age groups. Our baby group is specially designed for the youngest ones. We provide diapers, wipes and bottle feeding according to your child's rhythm. The spacious sleeping rooms with cribs offer peace and regularity. For the toddler group we have a large discovery room where children can craft, build, play and learn. We work with themes that connect to toddlers' world of experience and offer daily varied activities such as singing, dancing and creative activities. We also playfully learn first words, counting and color recognition. Outside we have a safe, challenging playground where children can romp, build sandcastles and ride bikes. We go outside almost daily, as outdoor play is healthy and stimulates motor development. For children with special dietary needs we have vegetarian and allergy-friendly meals available. Parents can choose half or full days of care, adjusted to their working hours.
