KINOP Kasteel

Welcome to KINOP Kasteel, our small-scale daycare centre in the Hatert district of Nijmegen. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our building at Zijpendaalstraat 7 has been transformed into a warm place where children feel at home and parents can leave their child with peace of mind. At KINOP Kasteel we work with horizontal groups. The youngest children (0-2 years) stay in a separate baby group, while the toddler group (2-4 years) is located in a different room. This allows us to optimally support each child's development. We maintain a fixed caregiver for every 7 children, ensuring there is always sufficient personal attention. As the only daycare centre in Nijmegen, we work with the VVE programme Kaleidoscoop. This programme offers children a challenging learning environment and guides them in their development. We work thematically and offer activities such as making music, crafts, reading aloud and gardening in our large garden. The garden is an extension of our groups and offers plenty of opportunities to play outside and discover nature. We believe it is important that children and parents feel at home with us. That is why we work with a permanent team of pedagogical staff who know each child personally. We offer flexible childcare, including half days. For the youngest children we provide nappies, bottle feeding and care products. For the older children we provide bread meals, hot meals and healthy snacks. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account. Our location is secured with an access system using fingerprint recognition, so that only authorised persons have access. We regularly organise trips to the playground in the neighbourhood and other fun places in the district.
