Welcome to Kindkracht 0/12, location Zonnewijzer, situated at Pastoor Onelplein 5-7 in the centre of Roelofarendsveen. We are a day-care centre for children aged 0 to 4, offering a secure and homely environment where every child has room to grow and flourish. Our location houses eight horizontal day-care groups: four baby groups (0-2 years) and four toddler groups (2-4 years). Each group is tailored to the children’s developmental stage and has its own name and phone number so parents can contact the staff directly. At Kindkracht 0/12 the child is always at the centre. Our pedagogical staff closely follow every child’s cues and adapt activities and care to individual needs. For the youngest this means plenty of rest, warmth and familiarity. For toddlers we offer the development-focused programme ‘Peuteropstap’ every morning from 9:00 to 11:30. Within an engaging theme we read books, sing songs, move and play games that stimulate language and cognitive development. We also make regular outings into the neighbourhood, for example with a push-car or during a themed walk. Location Zonnewijzer works with a pedagogical policy built on the pillars of warmth, respect and cheerfulness. We provide a natural, home-like setting where children feel safe and free to explore. Our pedagogical coaches Tamara Rietbroek and Marian Castelein are on hand to give extra support whenever a child needs it. Parents can rely on an active parent committee and a digital parent portal for registration and communication. Care is available on a half-day or full-day basis. We use clear age groups and a consistent daily rhythm so children experience structure and predictability. Together with parents we ensure that every child can develop to the fullest in an environment that invites play, learning and growth.
