Kindkracht 0/12, location Grote Beer is our after-school care facility in Oude Wetering. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 years in a secure and welcoming environment at Watergang 1. With space for 100 children, we create an inspiring play environment where children can relax and play freely after a school day. Our BSO has as its main principle that this is the children's free time. After a school day, there is time for relaxation and free play with us. We have designed the space so that children can independently choose which materials and toys they want to play with. There are active corners as well as quiet spaces created. We aim for an atmosphere of homeliness and coziness. Besides quality free play, our pedagogical staff also offer activities. Children can decide for themselves whether they want to participate or prefer to find their own play or relaxation. During vacation weeks, we put together a varied activity program with a mix of sports, nature, culture, technology and creative activities. We also organize excursions. The BSO is a safe and educational setting for children to play in groups and learn to interact with others and themselves. Our pedagogical staff support the children in their social-emotional development. Being able to express yourself and respect for each other are important values in our care.
