Welcome to Kinderwoud POV De Opstap, located at Heemstrasingel 45 in the heart of Oentsjerk. Our daycare center offers a warm and safe environment for children aged 0 to 4 years, where development, play, and connection are central. We believe every child is unique and deserves to grow in an environment that meets their individual needs and developmental stage. At De Opstap, we work with small-scale groups where children of different ages come together. This encourages social development and interaction between younger and older children. Our pedagogical staff provide individual attention to each child and guide them in their daily discoveries. We follow the VVE program (Early Childhood Education), which stimulates children's language, math, and social skills through play. The spaces are bright, cozy, and designed to match the world of young children. There is a separate sleeping area for the youngest, a creative corner for crafts and drawing, and a large garden where children can play, build sandcastles, and explore nature. We believe it's important for children to play and learn both indoors and outdoors. That's why we go outside daily, even in less favorable weather. For the youngest children, we offer customized bottle feeding and take individual sleep and meal rhythms into account. Toddlers eat healthy bread meals together with fresh fruit and drinks. We pay attention to healthy nutrition and accommodate allergies or dietary needs. We also provide necessary care products such as wipes and sunscreen. Parents are always welcome.
