Kinderwoud Oeps

Welcome to Kinderwoud Oeps, located at Vogelwijk 20 in the heart of Heerenveen. We are a daycare center (KDV) specially designed for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our focus is entirely on your child's development. We provide a warm, safe environment where every child has the space to grow according to our core values: Security, Individuality, and Self-development. Our pedagogical policy is based on scientific research into child brain development. We work with four pillars: learning through play, movement, music, and healthy nutrition. These elements are fully integrated into our daily activity program. We regularly organize healthy cooking and baking activities, movement sessions in our own outdoor playground, music and singing moments, and creative activities tailored to your child's developmental level. We operate with horizontal groups, where children are grouped by age. This allows our pedagogical staff to specifically address the unique needs and developmental stage of your child. For the youngest ones, we have quiet sleeping areas where your baby can sleep safely. Toddlers receive a challenging play and learning environment that prepares them for the next step in their development. At Kinderwoud Oeps, we believe in parental involvement in their child's care. We therefore work closely with the local parent committee and hold regular parent meetings. You are always welcome to come and see how we work.
