Kinderwoud KDV 't Wad

Welcome to Kinderwoud KDV ’t Wad, located at Midlumerlaan 13 in the heart of Harlingen. We are proud to be part of IKC ’t Wad, a healthy child center where movement, healthy nutrition and social-emotional development are central. Our daycare provides care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, colorful environment where every child feels safe and secure. Our qualified pedagogical staff work according to Kinderwoud's development model. This means we offer appropriate activities and materials for each developmental phase. We work thematically, connecting with current events and organizing extra workshops. Think of cooking and baking activities, music and movement activities, and creative expressions. Our activity program can be found in DoenKids, ensuring all developmental areas are covered. Preschool education (VE) is highly valued with us. This program aims to stimulate the broad development of toddlers. We provide extra support to children who need it or seek more challenge. Our location is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. For parents who need care outside these hours, we offer extended care in many cases. Our daycare features its own garden and playground where children can romp and discover. We pay great attention to healthy nutrition and movement. Additionally, we collaborate with the Youth Team that is present every Tuesday afternoon for questions and advice.
