Kinderwoud KDV Inky Pinky

Kinderwoud KDV Inky Pinky is located at Sélânswei 2 in the heart of Raerd, on the ground floor of primary school OBS ’t Raerderhiem. We offer small-scale daycare for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our single group follows a vertical structure, allowing babies, toddlers and preschoolers to play and learn together. Outdoor play is at the heart of our approach. Every day the children enjoy a spacious, green outdoor area where they can run, climb and explore. We encourage a healthy and active lifestyle and let children discover the world around them in a natural way. Our qualified pedagogical staff give each child individual attention and care, so everyone feels safe and secure. Inky Pinky provides pre-school education (VE). This programme supports the broad development of all toddlers in the group. Children who need extra challenge or support receive tailored activities. We align these with the school’s themes to ensure a smooth transition to primary education. Our setting is bilingual: we speak both Dutch and Frisian. Together with SFBO (Sintrum Frysktalige Berne-opfang) we stimulate multilingual development through play. For children with another home language we use the ‘comfort language’ whenever needed, so every child feels understood. Kinderwoud KDV Inky Pinky is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00.
