Kinderwoud KDV Het Zonnetje

Welcome to Kinderwoud KDV Het Zonnetje, our daycare centre at mr. C.P.M. Rommestraat 6 in Sneek. We provide care for children from 0 to 4 years in a calm, green location in the De Zwette district, right next to OBS Zwetteschool. Our focus is on creating a safe, warm environment where your child feels secure and is free to explore. We work with small-scale, age-specific groups. Each group room is spacious, bright and furnished to match the exact age of the children, so every baby, toddler or pre-schooler receives the stimuli and space that fit his or her developmental stage. Nature, outdoor play and healthy living are at the heart of our approach. Every day our professional pedagogical staff offer a varied programme in which play, discovery and learning go hand in hand. We follow scientific insights showing that 80 % of brain connections are formed before the age of four. That is why we emphasise learning through play, movement, music and healthy nutrition as a solid foundation for life. At Het Zonnetje we provide Early Childhood Education (ECE) to all toddlers. This broad developmental stimulation is also available for children who need extra support or extra challenge. If your child has an ECE indication, he or she can attend additional sessions and receive extra guidance, so that together we make the most of every developmental opportunity. Our centre is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00. If you need extended care outside these hours, please contact us; we are happy to think along with you.
