Welcome to Kinderwoud KDV Ferwoude, located at Buren 31 in the heart of Ferwoude. We are a daycare centre for children aged 0 to 4, where every day is filled with playful learning in a safe and familiar environment. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a warm, colourful place where your child feels secure and is free to explore. Everything we do is guided by three core values: Security, Individuality and Self-development. We provide a solid foundation of trust, giving children the space to grow in their own unique way. Playful learning, movement, music and healthy nutrition form the fixed pillars of our daily programme. These elements stimulate brain and talent development and are scientifically proven to be effective. Our location is organised horizontally with separate groups for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. This allows us to tailor activities precisely to each child’s needs and developmental stage. We have a spacious, green outdoor playground where children can enjoy fresh air and discover nature every day. Indoors, separate sleeping rooms ensure rest and routine are maintained. Language and language development receive extra attention. We work bilingually: both Dutch and Frisian are spoken in our groups. Together with SFBO (Sintrum Frysktalige Berne-opfang) we playfully encourage every child’s multilingualism. For toddlers we offer pre-school education (VE), aimed at a smooth start in primary school. Children with a VE indication can attend extra sessions and receive targeted support. Parents can choose between full or half-day care, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00. Drinks, fruit and a healthy lunch are included. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account.
