Kinderwoud KDV de Treffer

Welcome to Kinderwoud KDV de Treffer, located in the beautiful IKC de Treffer at H. Ringenoldusstrjitte 1 in Gorredijk. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm and colorful environment. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff ensures your child feels safe and secure while discovering new things and playing with peers. The location is part of a multifunctional building where learning and movement are central. The large spaces offer children plenty of room to move, and the outdoor area is designed as a natural playground with ample space for outdoor play. We follow our own developed preschool education approach using the Uk & Puk method. This approach stimulates the broad development of toddlers and is available for all children in the group, including additional support when needed. At De Treffer, we speak both Dutch and Frisian. We encourage children playfully in their multilingualism, which not only promotes language development but also their social and intellectual growth. For children with a different native language, we use the 'comfort language' when needed – words from their own language that parents can provide for comfort moments. Our daycare is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00. For parents who need care outside these hours, we often offer extended care.
