Welcome to Kinderwoud KDV De Petteflet, centrally located in Sneek at Bloemstraat 17a. As part of Kinderwoud, we provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a familiar and safe environment. Our group spaces are cozily furnished and our outdoor area is fully adapted to the children's age. At De Petteflet, we work according to our core values: Security, Individuality and Self-development. We create a warm, secure atmosphere in which every child feels safe to play and discover. Our qualified pedagogical staff pay attention to each child's unique personality and tailor activities to their individual developmental stage. We offer preschool education (VE) for all toddlers in our group. This program stimulates the broad development of toddlers and is also available for children who need extra support or are looking for more challenge. For children with a VE indication, we offer additional daycare with extra guidance. At De Petteflet, we work multilingually. We speak both Dutch and Frisian to playfully stimulate children in their language development. This multilingual approach not only promotes language skills, but also social and intellectual development. We collaborate with SFBO (Sintrum Frysktalige Berne-opfang) and use the 'comfort language' when needed - words from the child's native language in situations where it's needed. Our activities focus on learning through play, movement, music and healthy nutrition. We offer music activities daily, where children playfully get acquainted with different musical forms. Sports and movement activities also play an important role in our program. We believe these pillars are essential for optimal development of the child's brain. Daycare De Petteflet is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. For parents who need childcare outside these hours, we offer extended childcare options in many cases. We welcome children from 6 weeks to 4 years old and offer both full and half-day care. We warmly invite you to come and see our location.
