Kinderwoud KDV De Arke

Welcome to Kinderwoud KDV De Arke, located at Tramdyk 10 in the heart of Lemmer. We are part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Arke, where education and childcare seamlessly connect. Our day-care centre is specially designed for children aged 0 to 4. In a warm, colourful environment they feel safe and secure while playfully discovering new things and having fun with peers. The child is always at the centre of everything we do. Our qualified pedagogical staff work from the core values of Security, Individuality and Self-development. We provide pre-school education (VE) to all toddlers, ensuring every child – including those who need extra support or more challenge – can develop optimally. Thanks to close cooperation with primary school De Arke, there is a continuous learning line from 0 to 13 years; the transition from childcare to school is therefore smooth and familiar. We love being outdoors. The location offers plenty of space to play outside: we enjoy walking, visiting the playground and even make trips to the zoo during holidays. Indoors, the rooms are cosily furnished so children immediately feel at home. Our groups are horizontally arranged, allowing children to play and develop at their own pace with peers. The small, close-knit team with familiar faces provides continuity and recognisability. Day-care De Arke is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00. Need care before 07:30 or after 18:00?
