Kinderwoud De Wiken

Kinderwoud De Wiken is located in the heart of Drachten, at Middelwyk 2, in the De Wiken district. We are housed in the Brede School De Wiken, where childcare, education and parenting seamlessly connect. At this location we provide daycare for children from 0 to 4 years old. The large enclosed playground surrounding the building offers our youngest children a safe place to play and discover. Our pedagogical team works daily with up to 62 children. We provide a warm and safe environment where children can grow and develop through play. Through collaboration with the primary schools in the building – OBS De Kameleon and PCBO Het Mozaïek – we create a continuous line from childcare to primary education. This collaboration makes the transition for children and parents smooth and familiar. We are part of Kinderwoud, a Frisian childcare organization with more than 75 locations throughout Friesland. At Kinderwoud, the development of every child is central. Our pedagogical staff provide tailored care and attention, adjusted to your child's age and developmental stage.
