Welcome to Kinderwoud De Roerganger, our after-school care facility located at Vogelwijk 21 in Heerenveen. We provide a trusted place where children aged 4 to 13 can develop through play and discovery. Our location is connected to primary school De Roerganger, allowing us to offer a seamless transition from school to after-school care. At Kinderwoud De Roerganger, we believe that every child is unique and has their own pace of development. We work from our core values of Security, Individuality, and Self-development. These values are reflected in our daily practice where we encourage children to be themselves and discover their talents. Our pedagogical staff create a safe environment where children feel free to explore and learn. Our BSO offers both before-school care (VSO) and after-school care (NSO). Before-school care starts as early as 7:30 AM, allowing parents to bring their children calmly before school starts. After school, we pick up the children from primary school De Roerganger and start the after-school care that lasts until 6:00 PM. We are also open during school holidays and offer full-day care. We have a beautiful outdoor space where children can romp and play. Our activities are diverse and tailored to the interests of the children. Think of crafts, sports and games, nature activities, and creative projects. We regularly make trips to the surroundings, such as the forest or fun playgrounds in Heerenveen. In everything we do, the child's enjoyment and development are central. For the inner person, we provide a healthy lunch and snacks. We take into account any food allergies and dietary requirements. Our location has a homely atmosphere where children quickly feel at home. We work with permanent staff who know the children well and provide a familiar base. Kinderwoud De Roerganger is there for all children of primary school age. We offer a place where children can unwind, play, and discover new things after school. Together with parents, we work on the development of their child into a confident, social, and creative personality.
