Kinderwoud De Bijenkorf

Welcome to Kinderwoud De Bijenkorf, our daycare centre located at Cyclamenstraat 1 in Heerenveen-Noord. We provide care for children from 0 to 4 years old in a modern, bright building situated right in the neighbourhood, opposite the Rozenveldje. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a warm, colourful environment where your baby, toddler or preschooler feels safe and secure, discovers new things and enjoys playing with peers. We work from our three core values: Security, Individuality and Self-development. Every day we provide a safe base, pay attention to what makes your child unique and offer plenty of room to explore the world. Your child’s development is central; the more a child is offered at a young age, the better it is for his or her brain development. That is why we focus on learning through play, movement, music and healthy nutrition. These pillars are scientifically proven and contribute positively to the growth of the child’s brain. Our group rooms are arranged by age category, so activities and materials perfectly match your child’s developmental stage. The natural outdoor playground with hills and plenty of greenery invites outdoor play and discovery. We work closely with OBS van Maasdijkschool and CBS de Hoeksteen. Through regular consultation and joint themes we create a continuous developmental line from daycare to primary school. For toddlers we offer pre-school education (VE). This programme stimulates the broad development of all toddlers in the group. If your child has a VE indication, he or she can attend extra sessions and will receive additional support.
