Kinderwoud BSO Wommels

Welcome to Kinderwoud BSO Wommels, located at Walperterwei 41G in the heart of Wommels. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a homely, familiar setting. Our location can accommodate up to 30 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 29 August 2018 under number 201304697. The child is always at the centre of everything we do. At the end of the school day we pick the children up on foot or by bicycle from the primary school; older children may also come to the BSO independently by arrangement. Our qualified pedagogical staff offer a warm welcome and create a safe, secure atmosphere in which every child feels GEZien. We work with themes: each theme offers a varied programme of activities focused on movement, music, creative expression and healthy eating. Examples include cooking and baking workshops, sports and games, creative craft projects and regular excursions. Children choose what they want to do, guided by our developmental model that emphasises talent development and fun. At about 16:15 we share a cracker and a drink together. These quiet moments are socially educational: we practise healthy eating habits and make space for conversation. Taking allergies or dietary needs into account is second nature to us. Parents arrange everything easily through our parent portal and Parent App: request extra care, swap days or exchange messages with the group. We speak both Dutch and Frisian so that children are playfully encouraged to become multilingual. Feel free to drop by and experience the atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming you!
