Kinderwoud BSO Scharnegoutum

Welcome to Kinderwoud BSO Scharnegoutum, located at De Terp 2 in the centre of Scharnegoutum. We provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13. Before-school care (VSO) is also available. Every day we pick the children up from the adjacent primary school CBS Op ’e Hichte, so they reach us quickly and safely. Our pedagogical staff work from Kinderwoud’s three pillars: Security, Individuality and Self-development. We offer a warm, familiar place where every child is truly SEEN. The activity programme changes with each theme and season. Examples include healthy cooking and baking, sports and movement sessions, music workshops and creative excursions such as an archaeology studio or a ‘Backpack yourself crazy’ journey through different countries. Outdoor play is important to us. Our spacious garden offers plenty of room to romp, explore and play games together. In bad weather we use a large indoor space for building, crafting or simply reading a book together. We work closely with parents. There is a parent committee and we hold regular parent meetings. Together we ensure that every child develops optimally and has a wonderful day, every day, at Kinderwoud BSO Scharnegoutum.
