Kinderwoud BSO Epemaskoalle

Welcome to Kinderwoud BSO Epemaskoalle, located at OBS Epemaskoalle, Ds. H. W. C. A. Visserleane 11 in Ysbrechtum. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a familiar and safe environment. Our location accommodates up to 30 children and works closely with the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. At Kinderwoud, the child is at the centre of everything we do. Our pedagogical policy is built on the pillars of playful learning, movement, music and healthy nutrition. We believe children thrive in a warm and secure atmosphere. Our skilled pedagogical staff offer a challenging activity programme tailored to the world of the child. Activities include creative arts and crafts, cooking and baking, sports and games, and nature experiences. We also regularly organise excursions and workshops, such as dance and movement classes. We work thematically, with each theme supported by our activity programme DoenKids. This always includes movement and music activities, as well as cooking and baking. Our movement coaches provide active programmes in the afternoons and organise SportFun activities during holidays. This keeps children learning and developing through play all year round. Kinderwoud BSO Epemaskoalle is part of Kinderwoud Kinderopvang, the largest childcare organisation in Friesland.
