Kinderwoud BSO De Opdracht

Welcome to Kinderwoud BSO De Opdracht, located inside CBS De Opdracht at Foareker 21 in Ureterp. We provide after-school care for children in school years 1 through 5; from year 6 onward the children move to our De Spil location. Our staff pick the children up after school—on foot, by bicycle or with supervised transport—so parents can work without worry. Everything we do is centred on a homely atmosphere where every child feels at ease. After arrival the children are offered a healthy cracker and a drink, then decide for themselves whether to join an activity or simply relax and play. We work with themed periods: each block has its own topic and all activities and workshops tie in with it. Expect crafts, sports and games, nature experiences and language activities in both Dutch and Frisian. In partnership with SFBO we encourage multilingualism in a playful way, boosting not only language skills but also social and intellectual development. Besides the scheduled activities there is plenty of room to unwind, play outside on the spacious schoolyard or just chat with friends. We believe it is important that children can relax after a busy school day while still discovering new things. That is why we offer a broad, varied programme where fun and development go hand in hand. Parents stay informed through our Parent App: photos, messages and an easy way to request extra care or swap days. Kinderwoud BSO De Opdracht welcomes children aged 4 to 13. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00; extended care before 07:30 or after 18:00 is often possible by arrangement. Curious? Feel free to drop by and experience the atmosphere!
