Kinderwoud BSO De Arke

Welcome to Kinderwoud BSO De Arke, located at Tramdyk 10 in the heart of Lemmer. We are part of the comprehensive childcare organization Kinderwoud and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. Our location is housed within the Integral Child Center (IKC) De Arke, allowing us to work closely with primary school De Arke and other partners in the building. At our BSO, playful learning is at the core of everything we do. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a warm, secure environment where every child can be themselves. We operate based on our core values of Security, Individuality, and Self-development. This means we recognize each child's unique personality and provide space for them to discover and develop their talents. Our after-school care offers a varied activity program that connects with the world of school-age children. We organize sports activities, creative workshops, music, and movement sessions. Additionally, we regularly utilize the facilities within the IKC, such as the library and gymnasium. Our spacious outdoor area invites children to play and explore nature. We pick up children from primary school De Arke and other schools in the immediate area. During school holidays and study days, we are open all day and organize fun excursions to playgrounds, museums, and other educational locations in the region. Parents stay informed through our app, which we use daily to share how their child has experienced the day. We believe it's important for parents to stay involved and regularly organize parent evenings and drop-in sessions.
