Welcome to Partou Kinderspeelkafee! Our after-school care is located right in the heart of the Maaspoort district at Zilverpopulier 93 in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Together with primary schools De Bron and Montessori Merlijn, as well as the day-care centre, we form Kindcentrum Maaspoort: one familiar place where children aged 4 to 12 can play, discover and unwind after school. The moment the school bell rings our qualified staff are ready to collect the children on foot, by bike or by taxi from De Bron, Montessori Merlijn and ’t Schrijverke. For safety they wear bright vests so they are always clearly visible. We also offer before-school care, allowing parents to drop off their child early and head to work with peace of mind. At Kinderspeelkafee the emphasis is on being outdoors. We have a large green outdoor area with hiding places, climbing equipment and our own vegetable garden. The children help sow, water and harvest everything from cherry tomatoes to pumpkins. Whatever we pick is taken to the kitchen to cook or bake together. We also make regular trips to the petting farm or local playground to deepen their connection with nature. Inside, children can choose from a range of activities: crafting, building, playing games or simply relaxing with a book in the quiet corner. Each week we publish an activity programme featuring sports and movement games, yoga and creative workshops. We work in small groups so every child receives the attention they need. Parents stay informed through our Partou app, receiving photos and messages showing that their child is having a great afternoon.
