Welcome to KinderRijk Day-care Centre Schweitzerlaan, located at Schweitzerlaan 8 in the heart of Amstelveen Westwijk. We are a spacious, bright facility with four welcoming day-care groups designed especially for children aged 0 to 4. Sharing one building with our toddler group and after-school care, the day-care centre has its own entrance. Our best-kept secret? The large, adventurous natural garden that serves as an outdoor classroom, where children can play, run, hide, explore nature and happily splash in puddles. We are an enthusiastic and committed team of pedagogical staff who create a safe, home-like and cheerful atmosphere every day. We work with challenging themes that last two to four weeks—think “farm animals” or “who am I?”—always offering enough variety so every child finds something fun and stimulating. At the same time, we leave room for children to shape their own day. We turn small moments into experiences: dancing together, stimulating the senses with experiments, letting imagination run free with role-play and imitation games, or moving around on our interactive activity floor. Our site features an atelier, themed and play corners, a spacious central hall for joint activities, and a vegetable garden where children grow and harvest their own produce. A warm lunch is served three days a week. We are open from 07:30 to 18:30 and provide care for up to 64 children. Thanks to our LRK registration, you can apply for childcare allowance.
