Welcome to KinderRijk daycare Mauritskade, located in a beautiful monumental school building on the edge of the green Oosterpark in Amsterdam East. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, homely environment where fun comes first. Our pedagogical policy is based on respect for nature and each other. We work with small horizontal groups where babies, toddlers and preschoolers are cared for separately. This allows our pedagogical staff to fully focus on your child's developmental stage. We offer pre-school education (VVE) according to the 'Startblokken' program, through which we stimulate language and cognitive development through play. The location has its own outdoor playground adjacent to the Oosterpark, where children can play and explore daily. When weather permits, we offer outdoor sleeping in our special outdoor sleeping areas. Inside we have separate sleeping rooms with cribs and playpens for the little ones. We provide all care products such as diapers, wipes and sunscreen. For meals we work with a professional caterer who delivers fresh, hot meals daily. We accommodate all dietary requirements and allergies. For babies we provide bottle feeding according to your preferences. Our activities are tailored to the children's age. We sing songs daily, read from our children's book collection and do arts and crafts with various materials. We regularly make trips to the Oosterpark and visit the nearby petting zoo. Parents receive daily photos and reports through our KinderRijk app. We are open from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM and offer flexible daycare days. Half days are possible from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM or 1:00 PM-6:30 PM.
