Welcome to KinderRijk daycare Boechorststraat, located on the VU campus at Van der Boechorststraat 13 in Amsterdam. As part of Stichting KinderRijk, a non-profit childcare organization, we have been providing high-quality childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years for over 55 years. Our location is specially designed to offer the youngest children a safe and stimulating environment where fun, respect, development and imagination are central. At KinderRijk Boechorststraat we work with 7 groups: 3 baby groups (0-2 years), 2 toddler groups (2-4 years) and 2 vertical groups (0-4 years). This group structure offers flexibility and allows us to meet the developmental needs of each child. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in guiding babies and toddlers and work according to our four core values: fun, respect, development and imagination. These values form the basis for our daily actions and ensure that children develop through play. Our location features a large natural garden where children can play and explore. We also have an atelier where we offer creative activities such as crafts, painting and other forms of expression. Music, dance and movement are important parts of our activity program. We believe that children learn about the world around them through play and discovery, contributing to their development in independence, perseverance and flexibility. For the youngest children, we provide complete care including diapers, wipes and baby food. For older children, we provide healthy meals and snacks, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. We use an app that keeps parents informed about their child's development and allows them to receive photos of daily activities. KinderRijk Boechorststraat offers both full and half-day care. We work with the preschool education method Uk & Puk, which prepares toddlers for primary school through play. For students and staff of VU/ACTA, we offer priority placement.
